Bridenstine reportedly not running for Senate

WASHINGTON — First District Congressman Jim Bridenstine has decided not to enter the U.S. Senate race to succeed Tom Coburn, it was reported Tuesday evening.
The Hill, a newspaper covering Capitol Hill, said it had learned Bridenstine told potential supporters, including several Washington-based conservative groups, that he will not run for Senate.
Several of those groups, including the Madison Project and the Senate Conservatives Fund, have indicated support for the first-term Republican.
