About Josh:
As the most senior member of the State Auditor’s Tulsa office, Josh played a prominent role in the EMSA investigative audit that recently made headlines for uncovering wasteful and extravagant spending that was inappropriate for a public trust. He has worked for Gary Jones, State Auditor, for two years, auditing county governments, federal grants, emergency medical services, and performing multiple investigative/fraud engagements.

Josh became a CPA in 2009 and received a degree in accounting from the College of the Ozarks in 2006 where he graduated summa cum laude. After graduating Josh gained five years of experience with two reputable public accounting firms — BKD and Sartain Fischbein & Co — both in Tulsa. His clients included the City of Tulsa and the Cherokee & Choctaw Indian Nations, among many others.

Josh is the only candidate who does not have strong ties to anyone running for Mayor. His independence will allow him to examine the books without prejudice or bias regardless who runs the city. He will provide Tulsa with the assertive City Auditor we need.
