Tulsa mayoral candidates share their top achievements in office

The two people who want to be Tulsa’s next mayor happen also to be its last two mayors, having presided over the past seven years of city history.
They have governed with the backdrop of some of its largest and most successful public investments, a rebirth of downtown and financial hardship amid a global recession and, in that setting, accomplished much, they say.
Both surprising and expected are what they consider their top triumphs, including economic gains and racial progress.
