Pinnell Tops $300K In First Fundraising Quarter; Donations From All 50 States

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 10, 2017

Pinnell Sets Strong Fundraising Pace For Lt. Governor
Support from grassroots supporters across Oklahoma and contributions from all 50 states

Former Oklahoma Republican Party Chairman and small businessman Matt Pinnell, announced today that his campaign raised over $300,000 in the 10 weeks since announcing his candidacy for Lt. Governor in late April. The campaign’s total represents one of the best fundraising quarters by a candidate for Lt. Governor during the first fundraising period, with support coming not only from grassroots supporters all across Oklahoma, but also contributions from all 50 states.

“I am incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from hardworking Oklahomans around our state and conservative leaders from all across the country,” said Pinnell. “While this is a great start to the campaign, we have a long way to go over the next 11 months. I will continue to tirelessly travel across the state to spread our conservative message for a proud, prosperous Oklahoma and to expand our growing network of supporters and volunteers.”

The youngest state Republican Party chairman in the country at the time of his election, Matt helped the party secure all five congressional seats and every statewide elected office simultaneously for the first time in Oklahoma history. As National State Party Director for the Republican National Committee, Matt played crucial roles in delivering a Republican majority to the U.S. Senate in 2014 and helping Donald Trump win the White House in 2016. Matt and his wife Lisa own a Tulsa-based small business producing and selling an innovative baby line of products sold in stores, online, and around the world.

“The relationships that Matt has developed both with leaders here in Oklahoma and nationally make him uniquely qualified to serve as our next Lt. Governor,” stated Tulsa businessman and Pinnell Campaign Chairman T. Hastings Siegfried. “It’s a position that is actively involved in economic development efforts, and those connections will be a huge asset as we work to retain and recruit jobs to Oklahoma.”

In just a few short weeks, proven conservative leaders like First District Congressman Jim Bridenstine, Fifth District Congressman Steve Russell, Insurance Commissioner John Doak, and former RNC National Committeeman and longtime OKGOP leader, Steve Fair, have endorsed Matt’s candidacy – in addition to many other grassroots activists and party leaders.

Matt Pinnell knows what it takes to fight for smaller government, less regulation, and a pro-growth business environment. As our next Lt. Governor, he will achieve that and more for Oklahoma families and job creators. To learn more about Matt’s campaign or to join his 77-County team, please visit mattpinnell.com.
