While you’re at the excessive raise for teachers, who work only 8 months out of the year….where’s a raise for State employees and prison guards who start at $9-11 an hour and don’t forget those retired from state schools and state agencies. We haven’t seen raises in our retirement EVER and state employees haven’t had a raise in 12 years, not like teachers who get a step raise each year.

Legislatures need to slow down and closely look at the step up plan.
