As a pastor for 46 years I’m concerned that you have decided to be like too many of the individuals that get elected and then choose not to represent your constituency! For you to be elected and seemingly go along with your party in Washington is or should be an affront to those you serve! I would appreciate, and I think the citizens of Oklahoma would as well, hearing that you believe that the constant attempt to smear and keep our president from doing his job has been not only wrong but excessive! I for one believe that their hatred of Trump is corrupt! What say you?

Rep. Kannaday is strongly backed by trial lawyers and most believe they primarily funded the effort. There is a reason Kannaday is now telling people he plans to roll back the tort reform and workers comp reform that is drastically reducing the cost of business in OK. Anyone who supports a conservative agenda should be concerned about Kannaday’s rise to power.

ROFL the first tax takes effect July 1 and the next Aug . and you cannot roll back what has already been taken . so the dummies that presented this case sounded like a bunch of clutches standing in front of the justices , they stumbled all over them selves , were not even prepared and from where I was seated , looked like a bunch of fools . so teachers get their raises , we get higher taxes , Mary Fallin saves her hotel and motel from paying higher costs ( taxes ) and everything is just lovely in the state .Oh and Coborn your team was a disgrace.

Correction the highest unemployment rate in the country was 10.80% in 1982. The lowest unemployment rate was 2.50% in 1953. In December 2017 the unemployment rate was 4.1%. It is now 3.9% the lowest it has been since December of 2000.

How ignorant can you be in one article between two people? I’m impressed, I made it the whole way through and never was able to find you mention the actual reason for the walk out, which isn’t teacher raises, but a sustainable source of funding for public schools that isn’t a one year band-aid. Next time you write an article about a topic, perhaps you both should do some actual investigating before posting something. Being from the American Enterprise Institute you should know how to do that, I am surprised you failed to even presumably talk to anyone involved in the strike, or even read what the bill was that was passed. You will quickly learn that what had passed was absolutely nowhere near what was being requested, so “ironically” you completely missed the mark. Hopefully you’ll do better next time 😉

That will be a good thing for teachers. There needs to be things done to ensure the children aren’t in a class with a bad teacher or a teacher hiding a alcohol or drug problem (Not MedicalCannabis/Maurijana) or both! Make sure they are not grooming a child for sex or inappropriate behavior!! Or that bullying is not being ignored or favoritism toward certain kids!! Random drug and alcohol testing and not warning before hand. Cameras in every rooms and halls and an app that parents can get on and check on their kids throughout the day when they choose to. Just like the good daycares have done your child is never out of view of a camera!! If any complain about it they must have something to hide!!
