It wasn’t “personal support of a friend” to send letters of support on Chamber letterhead. It appears that this was a case of “do it and ask forgiveness later.” Any executive knows that you do not send out a political letter or endorsement on company letterhead. This is a red state delegation! Not one county in Oklahoma went for BHO! Landrieu has supported ObamaCare and everything the Golfer-in-Chief has done or not done. If she or her husband are personal friends then go to the fundraiser but for crying out loud, don’t send invitations to all the chamber members. They need to dump you like a red hot potato.
