Bartlett Presser Makes For Great Political Theater
Republicans, including Inhofe, Bridenstine and Santorum, get behind Bartlett

Whatever tiny shred of pretense that might have remained about the nonpartisan mayoral election’s being, in fact, nonpartisan, blew away in the October wind Thursday evening.
A roomful of Republicans, including most area GOP legislators, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe, 1st District Congressman Jim Bridenstine and, in a cameo, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, circled up for Mayor Dewey Bartlett at the Tulsa Press Club.
Their message: Vote for Bartlett or risk the city’s falling back into the hands of Obama-loving Democrat Kathy Taylor.
“This (election) is not supposed to be about (President Barack Obama),” said Inhofe, “but it is, because Kathy Taylor is probably his strongest supporter in the state.”
