Pinnell Wins Lt. Gov Race In Landslide, Tops Total Statewide Vote Count
Pinnell wins GOP nomination for lieutenant governor

Matt Pinnell, a longtime Republican Party politico, beat Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy in the runoff election on Tuesday for lieutenant governor.
Pinnell received 171,575 votes, 58 percent, while Murphy got 123,557 votes, 42 percent, according to complete but unofficial results.
Pinnell will face Democrat Anastasia Pittman, a state senator from Oklahoma City, in the Nov. 6 general election.
Incumbent Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb could not run for the post again because of term limits.
